Registration for DVC Spring 2012 classes is already in full force. Classes begin in little over one month from today and many classes are already full. If you’re planning to attend DVC in the Spring and haven’t gotten around to registering through your DVC Insite Portal/WebAdvisor account yet . . . the time is NOW to get the ball rolling.

The DVC Scholarship application period continues through Thursday, February 2, 2012. You can now access the 60+ scholarships currently available to continuing DVC students and see what is available. If you are in need of extra financial assistance to help fund your college education, don’t miss out on this opportunity.

To apply, you will need to complete the online application, submit two letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a DVC faculty member or administrator), and write a personal statement/essay. If you need any help with the process, feel free to contact Rudolf or Lindsay for assistance.

Want to make policy improvements for foster youth? Interested in working in Washington D.C. for the summer?

Apply for the 2012 Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) Summer Internship Program for former foster youth. As part of the program, you will spend time working with policymakers, raising awareness about the foster care experience, and help inform future policy changes and legislation. This is an excellent opportunity to build your experience and prepare for your future.
